DS9: Ties of Blood and Water
I think I am starting to like Weyoun :P (for sure, I loved Dukat’s face when he saw Weyoun taking the cup of poison and drank it)
Miles Edward O’Brien
I was introduced to Star Trek with The Next Generation, so O’Brien was, to me, just some minor character who ran the transporter and had just enough lines to get paid. Then DS9 comes along, and he’s promoted and a main character and I love him as much as I love everybody else. So now, whenever I watch TNG, and all the senior staff are meeting, I’m like “Where’s O’Brien?” And whenever we do see him, I’m like, “Gee, Miles, you’re being awfully quiet.” And then Georgi and Data are down in engineering with a problem and I seriously say to myself, “Just let O’Brien look at it, he can fix anything.” But he doesn’t, because this is TNG and he’s not a main character yet, he’s the transporter chief.
He was probably the best damn transporter chief the Enterprise ever had.
Here’s to you, Chief.
Cardassia City is a stupid name for the capital city of Cardassia Prime. There’s got to be something better. Anybody happen to know?
