ok genuine criticism for like one minute ok. like it’s gonna come across as a joke but it isn’t. the bookshop was FAR too nice. far too welcoming. there’s this bookshop near where i went to college that i went into exactly once, not because i hated it, but because the hours are so wild the only time it was open was like, 10 am on a tuesday. it’s on this kinda weird sidestreet and there’s not much signage so you need to know where it is. you go in and you can barely walk through the shelves because they’re so full of books. you’re constantly afraid of knocking something over. there’s like, three uncovered lightbulbs hanging from the ceiling. person running the shop reading a book completely disinterested. i left without buying anything because i was scared but looking back i’m like ‘i found the american branch of a.z. fell & co and i met aziraphale that day’

Can you seriously imagine what the Annunciation must have been like, with the Good Omens version of Gabriel? To quote savage Luke 1:28-38:
