i think i found the perfect explanation of the difference between book!aziraphale and crowley and tv!aziraphale and crowley and because i just saw that meme based off of the john mulaney skit that’s like “children yelling: mcdonald’s! mcdonald’s! mcdonald’s!” and in the one the person made for the tv show aziraphale is under “mcdonald’s! mcdonald’s! mcdonald’s!” and crowley is under “*pulls into the drive through and children cheer* *orders one black coffee and leaves*” and i get what you’re saying but book!aziraphale and crowley? the exact motherfucking opposite

A lot of us are freaking out about the use of somebody to love (completely understandable, that was the perfect choice)when crowley got into the burning bookshop.

But may i please remind you that right before that, the song that was playing was “you are my best friend”, that sounds kinda platonic until you realize that John Deacon, the bassist of Queen, wrote it about his wife and the song is actually about being in love.
