Hi, Neil! Saw you at Southbank Centre tonight, it was wicked, can't wait to watch Good Omens with my BF :) We wanna go see 19 Greek St this weekend, too, but were wondering if you knew what the opening times were for it?

neil-gaiman answered:

I don’t. I know it seems to have sneak opened today and tomorrow as well. If anyone goes into Aziraphale’s bookshop today and can ask them, please let me know and I will weblog with the info.

According to a reply, it will be open at 11 and close at 6 Friday and Saturday and close at 5 on Sunday.

vintagemarlene asked:

Did you and Harlan Ellison ever work on anything together? Just curious. I'm relatively new to your work.

neil-gaiman answered:

Yes. It’s never appeared though and I’m not sure now what to do with it. We started a short story in, what, 1998? called Shoot Day For Night. We wrote about 5 pages together. Harlan rewrote it in 2002ish and now it was about 3 pages. I slowly realised the only way it would ever be finished is if I went to Harlan’s house and wrote it, and I never made the time.

It’s kind of dated, in weird ways, now.

OH also. i went to aziraphale’s bookshop today (which exists! and is in soho! at least for the next few days!) and the guy at the till was in character as aziraphale, or at least i assume he was, because the entire time i was there he looked at me like he wished i was dead in a ditch

Do you suppose a Crowley wanders in from time to time?

punkfaery

there was a crowley too! he was lounging against a door in dark glasses blocking the way through, and when i said to him, “hi, can i go in there?” he just looked at me and went “i don’t know, can you?”
