I have literally never felt more called out in my entire life
I know this is supposed to be satire but uh
did @thestraggletag write this about me.
… perhaps.

What I like about DS9 specifically is how it shows Star Trek species through individuals who aren’t aligned with Starfleet. In previous series if there’s a non-human in the cast they’ll be thoroughly loyal to Starfleet, which influences how they represent their species towards the audience.
Odo, Quark and Garak in particular have no need for the humans or even actively dislike them, but are not directly opposed to them. For the first time in the universe we get a perspective of Starfleet from a source that is outside them while living with them. So now and then they’ll mumble and complain about things such as Starfleet’s naivety or deceptively friendly behavior, which calls Starfleet’s values into question while they were usually presented as the ultimate good in previous series.
Garak in particular has frequent philosophical debates with Bashir, letting the audience understand the Cardassian point of view, even if they don’t agree with it.
I dunno, it’s good shit.
N-nodo…
just watched DS9:Children of time. Old Odo ruins everything for young Odo as I internally screamed and squeezed my husband’s hand while watching.
If you two could suspend your oh so amusing banter for the moment, I’d like to begin the optical parameter scans.
What do you want me to do?
Things Odo should have done in DS9.
Don’t take this too seriously. It’s just a bit of fun!
“There is a place outside of normal existence called the Silhouette Rouge, a place where the conscious and subconscious merge, where the real and unreal are one in the same. The Sarcophagi, creatures lacking memory and identity, are imprisoned within this place. They walk the Silhouette Rouge hoping to divine its secrets for only revelation and enlightenment can grant them release.
“Noumenon is a role-playing game of mystery and abstraction. Players assume the roles of the Sarcophagi, strange insect-like creatures trapped within the Silhouette Rouge. During their adventures, players will encounter bizarre entities and explore strange locations. The Silhouette Rouge, Noumenon’s setting, is detailed enough to spark the imagination yet open enough to allow customization.
“In Noumenon, player cooperation is key. Noumenon uses a domino-based task resolution system that enables players to build upon each other’s successes.Transcendence or damnation? The Silhouette Rouge beckons.“
every star trek has that one womanizer character, the one thats always getting laid and is always flirting with every attractive alien they come across. tos had kirk, tng had riker and ds9 had………………quark
