And a question: users of the Cyrillic alphabet, when you see the Latin alphabet, do you get the same quiet ‘what the fuck’ that I get when I see the Cyrillic alphabet? I have to do a quick stroke check every time.
Best cat award.
I was literally just whispering, “This is the best video ever recorded,” when she said it.

Yes, but it’s not the norm for any species; it happens when a pentagonal starfish loses an arm to an injury or growth defect! A normal one is on the right:

“Contains no tea” ingredients: “rooibos tea, chamomile tea” uhh my dude…
Ok, I’m being Pendantic Fucking Botanist here but:
“Tea” comes from a Tea Plant. Specifically, Tea is the brewed leaves of
Camellia sinensis and it’s various cultivars- Black tea is made from leaves that were allowed to ferment first, Green tea from unfermented leaves etc. Sometimes other plants are included in tea mixes, like rose hips, but all Teas contain trace amounts of caffiene and some people are allergic to C. sinensis specifically.
Rooibos is a completely unrelated plant Aspalathus linearis, and chamomile is made from several members of the daisy family- German chamomile (Matricaria recutita) and Roman chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile) are the most common types uses. Neither of them contains caffiene, and people are only extremely rarely allergic or intolerant of them.
So, if you’re using “Tea” in the colloquial sense of “Some kind of hot leaf juice” sure, it containes two types of tea, but from a botanical and dietary perspecitve, Jesus Tea contains no tea.
If mentioning something like this while writing, would the correct term be “tisane” or “infusion”?
I’ve seen both, with a suggestion they’re interchangeable, and I’d pretty sure they’re not.
