Ok, but, I don’t care if Deep Dish 9 isn’t technically a thing anymore, because I finally found a way to work in two of my favourite ‘what the fuck’ episodes of Voyager and I’m not going to let a little thing like the AU dropping out of favour get in the way of that.
Fair Haven is a somewhat obscure Federation soap opera. Miles O’Brien hates it. Tom Paris, on the other hand, absolutely loves it, has written reams of fanfiction for it, and has gotten all his colleagues at Nebula Coffee addicted too. Janeway has a bit of a crush on the character of Michael Sullivan, and may have written a few guilty fanfics shipping him with her blatant self-insert character ‘Katie O‘Clare‘, conveniently leaving out the fact that Michael has a wife in canon.
