lahore pigeons are some of the most visually appealing birds out there. like in terms of visual design. very minimalist, good contrast.
Too bad Lahore pigeons are a domestic breed and don’t appear in the wild at all.

Last panel from a three issue arc about Julian being abducted by the Maquis and then becoming a prisoner in a Cardassian camp. Turns out it was all a trap to get Garak, because they knew that was the best way to get him off DS9. To rescue Julian.
In the end it’s Julian that rescues Garak, and Garak says he’s honestly never been so happy to see him, to which Julian replies with a smile “Good, then you’re buying lunch next time.”
I just. So blatant. So canon it hurts it’s not explicit canon.
“Fortunes can change so quickly.” Garak heaved a sigh, then said, “Well, I must be going. A pity we couldn’t chat directly, but affairs of state have kept me extremely busy of late. Perhaps at a later date we can catch up on old times and new ones. Good-bye for now.”
Garak had said it all in the most pleasant tone imaginable. He never lost his genial smile or his affable demeanor.

The colors are different than the ones I painted because I tried some silly nonsense in Photoshop, and both sets of colors are pretty cool, actually! Some punk-rock-y flavored Doctor and Master for Gallifrey One!
