다그닥 다그닥, 이히힝~ 오늘의 @WotD 동물은 말입니다. 말은 정말 중요한 동물이에요! Horses are very important animals! (See: Sid Meier’s Civilization.) The other word today is 끌다. 끌다 has many uses, but for today, we will use the ‘to drag’ idea, as in: 말 네 마리가 사람이 타고 있는 마차를 끌고 갑니다. 🐎
BONUS! Did you know that most animals have their unique hanjas?? For horses, it’s 🐴 마 (馬), and it’s used in the word 'horse carriage’ (마차-馬車) above.
Other ones to know: 🐔 닭 계-鷄, as in 삼계탕 (the food) or 오골계 (type of chicken) … 🐮 소 우-牛, as in 우유 (milk) … Hanja is all around us!
