I firmly believe the reason we don’t get a scene with Garak reacting to Julian’s secret is because it could only end one way- Garak kissing him senseless.

Head canon: Ferengi have an equivalent to sudoku where it's like accounting ledgers but they have to fill in the solution with the highest possible profit. Quark finds Odo trying it one day and almost faints when he sees it filled out with full honesty and the only error favoring the other party.

Why Latvia? Not going to spoil you just saying if there's one song you'll want to look up, it's Italy this year. :) Will you watch the semi-finals?

Oh, see, now you’re makin’ it hard for me to stay pure!

I looked up Latvia because it was described as a 90s rave, which is kind of my aesthetic. And it did live up to that description. But it also sounded like nails on a chalkboard.

I think this year I will watch the semis, because last year naked wolf guy didn’t even make it into the finals, and I felt robbed.

I just thought about Garak saying ‘dear’ so much and was wondering what Cardassian term of endearment he is actually using that the universal translator is spitting out as ‘dear’. I’m really curious.

In the version of Kardasi that @cardassianlanguage uses, the suffix -lin translates as “valued”. More specifically, s'h'iosr'ha is doctor, s'h'iosr'halin is dear doctor.

In any other version of Kardasi or Varagasi, your guess is as good as mine!
