- THE DEFIANT CREW HAS A CEREMONY FOR WHEN THEY USE UP A POWER CELL. Chief O’Brien PRESENTS IT to Captain Sisko, who then GIVES A ROUSING SPEECH with CALL-AND-RESPONSE ELEMENTS. do you know how much I love call-and-response??? it’s a whole personal story, having to do with Moby-Dick and my high school English teacher, and, in retrospect, the fact that he was the one who used to be a Captain in the Marine Corps…. anyway, can attest that call-and-response is a guaranteed way to create strong group bonding AND startle ~~awful vice principals~~ your enemies. y’know looking back, that my English teacher was seen by the administration as a defiant Romantic revolutionary with a young literati army is also making a lot of sense….

I seem to have missed this segment of “Tara Treks” – until today. Then I laughed and gasped and nodded my head. At one point they call Weyoun a neon wood sprite and also mention how Dukat is making out with Sisko’s baseball. Damn, I love this.

- Ben is so happy, everyone is back home, the war is still going on but at least they can face it here together
- Sisko: “Good morning, Major!”
Kira: “Good morning, Captain!”
Sisko: “Do you know how much I missed hearing you say that?”
this is the homiest, coziest show I have ever had the privilege of watching
- Martok got promoted!! he held one sustained grumble note at the amount of paperwork he sees in his future, it lasted two and a half seconds and it was beautiful
- if you’d asked me at the beginning of the episode where I met Alexander what would become of him, I never would have guessed Hapless Klingon Klutz, but here we are. and I don’t hate it!
- Quark, dropping backward into frame: “Handsome young man… He must get his looks from his mother’s side.” Quark.
- “A traditional Klingon wedding with all the trimmings is something Worf’s been thinking about since he was a boy.” are u kidding Jadzia. this is precious.
- anyway as always, Nerys + Jadzia is one of my favorite relationships on this show, especially when they’re talking about other people being dramatic (Odo)
- Julian: “There’s nothing more romantic than a wedding on DS9, in springtime.”
Miles: “When the neutrinos are in bloom.”

I know I just posted about this (and wow, so many Likes and Reblogs!) but I’m doing it again because COME ON, look at this perk!!!

The “Just a Simple T-Shirt” is available as a $35 “add-on” to any existing package, so I think if you wanted to, you could get say the $5 or $15 level and then add this one on. Yeah I know, I wish you could get JUST this, but you can’t. (Luckily I got the Kira package and have already added the Quark shirt, so I’ll add this too… so in the end I’ll have three T-shirts.)
