Well I just couldn’t let the new year happen without some goof. 

Bashir ends up with some… interesting takes on Cardassian fashion. His tunics have their very own “tails”, made of stiff fabric and weighted at the end with metalwork. The weight allows it to move with him in a more “realistic” manner.

I’m not sure whose idea it was. Maybe Bashir suggested it jokingly, maybe Asha suggested it with sincerity, maybe the other way round. Either way, it seems to have somehow gotten to Garak, and Garak has inexplicably decided to indulge the request.

None of this explains Julian’s pose. There was a context to this but honestly it got swept aside for the purpose of making his pose more silly. :D
