You remember correctly, I did pledge last time (: (You can find my name in the booklet of Superstition.) This time I don’t think I have the money though. I would love to pledge just out of principle and I would also love some of the items just because I’ve been asking for them for years. The retrospective book especially is something I’ve been craving for in my mind forever and I wish I had the money to get it. But alas, I have nothing extra at the moment.
@ladyyatexel Don’t know if you know about this.
oh ho ho
happy birthday to me
gonna check some shit ooouuut
Hey guys!
So, my seasonal Halloween job is hiring.
It’s called Fright Nights, it’s an amusement park with SEVEN haunted houses. It’s only for the month of October, it’s usually around 18 days (well, nights. Shifts start at 6:30 and go til 1:30 at the latest), and it’s a BLAST.
You do NOT have to have acting experience. You just gotta be willing to scare people.
As far as haunt jobs go, it’s a really safe one. We have a great security team. I know there’s a lot of horror stories about people being beat up at haunted houses and stuff, but that doesn’t happen here. We do have the occasional punch or whatever, but the people are immediately kicked out and security is always just a button away AND they are always on your side. I feel like I have to mention that, because I have friends that work in other haunts and I’m always a little horrified by the stories I hear. Fright Nights takes their actor’s safety seriously.
It will be my fourth year working here, and it is exhausting, but it is also SO MUCH FUN. Decent money, if they like you you basically have a job every October, and you get to work with such a fantastic group of people, for real.
BONUS. I have quite a few trans friends who work here. If you have a name you go by that is not your legal name, they will respect that. Pronouns? They will respect your pronouns, and people who don’t are talked to by the supervisors.
Give it a shot, send in your application. Maybe I’ll see some of you there~
listen i did this for one season and i’m applying for the upcoming season. i can confirm its a hecking fun time, and also working with ziggy is like working with a ball of righteous fury who also happens to be incredible at scaring. ziggy once screamed down a dude for me and it was the most impressive thing ive ever seen in my life. apply for this job

Star Trek - “The Changeling”
A killer robot thinks Kirk is its mother so Kirk is like “Um, I’ve sort of got too much going on in my life right now to raise a robobaby?” and talks the robot into blowing itself up.

Corbeaux is a stylish little pixel art puzzler in which you arrange crows on electricity wires to match musical melodies. A relaxing and and almost meditative musical puzzler with no timer and no penalties for making mistakes.
