Is the Earth smoother than a billiard ball??

You may have heard at some stage that “If the Earth was shrunk down to the size of a billiard ball, it would actually be smoother”. If you haven’t heard it before, well, welcome to the group!

Billiard balls are pretty darn smooth and according to the World Pool-Billiard Association have a tolerance of +/- 0.0127 cm. Essentially, this means that a ball must not have any bumps or indentations greater than 0.127mm- which is about the width of a strand of hair.

I have been here, multiple times!  By referring to the order as a “Little Rosa”, you don’t have to make as big a deal out of the fact that you’re seeking help.

And believe it or not, it gets better. Rosa’s also gives out sweatshirts to the homeless (or sells them to the general public) that has information on local soup kitchens and even computer training in the area, on an insert sewn inside the sweatshirt.

The link still works cos I donated $5 aka 5 slices the other day! So if you have a spare dollar please think about it!

I know what it’s like to be homeless and actually I was homeless in PA, so this really hit close to home for me personally. I’m thankful for every bit of help my family has ever gotten and even though I still worry about bills etc, I give back whenever I can. No amount is too small. Sounds cliche but it is the truth.

No amount of kindness is ever turned away ok. Aight. Lemme get off my soapbox.

There’s this women’s shelter down the street from here that I used to live in and honestly many of the women have children to feed so if you have a spare dollar or anything, try to donate!!
