It’s come to my attention that some fuzz therapy may be called for. This is Regina; at almost-12 years old, she’s my old lady cat. She’s a lilac point Siamese, bought as a scratch-and-dent from a breeder who couldn’t show her because of her asthma.

She is a limpet, a leech, and a lamprey; when her people are home, she is with us, beside us, under us or on us. Usually on us, especially when it’s least convenient. Here she is, curled up in the crook of the Spousal Unit’s knee tonight while we watch some tv. Right now she’s sitting on my arm and glaring at me peevishly because I am typing instead of patting.

Her fur is very soft, and she loves you very much.
