Okay, you’re gonna laugh, but it was Spock and Christine Chapel. Because she likes him so much, right? And she’s so nice and she’s smart and he should just look for a second and see how awesome she is and then they could fall in love—

I was, like, ten? Eleven? I remember being ridic into Star Trek, and then my folks got me a book called Star Trek Lives! and it was all about the 60s/70s fandom, and they shipped it too!

It was a transformative moment.

(That book is a really fun read, btw.)

A pairing you initially didn’t consider but someone changed your mind

bmouse: attend.

Garak x Dukat and Garak x Ziyal are both pairings that made me go yigg until bmouse was like okay, but, here’s the thing: what if? And then what if this? And then slide an AU in there and how about now? And now there are at least two scenarios where Garak x Dukat and Garak x Ziyal are my endgame, and this both upsets and delights me.

Careful of bmouse. She’ll get you thinking.
