I made a pixel art poster! The kid isn’t supposed to be anybody… let’s just call him Andy. The assignment was to make a travel poster based on a fictional place!

Once I dabbled in pixel art, and I made this. A tribute to my favorite RPG. Every recruitable character plus Slash, Ozzie and Flea in their Chrono Cross guises. This took me days and I’m so proud of it. But I no longer have the original file without the watermarks, unfortunately.
AAAARGH THIS GAME.
It’s a space roguelike, it costs like four bucks on iPhone, it’s kicking my ass, and I am so. Damned. Hooked.
(I should also mention that it’s called “Out There”.)
Design: User Interface Mockup
I’ve started to think about the game play I want to design for this pixel art game. I’ve been itching to do something cyberpunk for a long time and I’ve always been interested in making a hacking game, so all of that is coming out here.
This is a grayscale mockup of a possible user interface design I put together. Using a super low pixel resolution helped me to quickly layout elements and prototype a concept while still allowing for a bit of expression. The actual game would have more colour than this and be at a higher resolution.
Game Play
The idea here is that there are two ‘planes’ to the game, a network plane and a physical plane. This is the network plane where you will be able to connect to local nodes that are either people connected to the network or servers setup to control things.
You will use programs to try and obtain door keys and mission crucial data from the nodes and proceed to the next level. Various programs act as tools, weapons and defences for you to activated and deploy. You must be careful with your resources though as you only have a limited amount of memory to work with an may need to hack several targets at once!
I realized I hadn’t posted in so long, so have this pixel art I made for my patrons back in March! It’s one of my first ventures into pixel art so it’s not perfect but oh well 🤣
You guys can see the rest of my pixel art and loads of new art on my patreon! Feel free to say hi there!
pixel art buttons/magnets and other stuff you can buy from me!

This seems as good a time as any to inform you that I created pinback buttons from some of my pixel art characters (more than pictured here!), and you can buy them in my etsy shop.

You can use them as magnets too!

In addition to that, I also have a bunch of vintage clothing (mostly for women). There’s some neat stuff for summer (and a bunch more going up soon).

I’m flat broke! Help me out (if you want)!
