I’ve been tagging sex related posts with “nsfw” so it would be easiest for you to just blacklist that and I’ll tag kissing separately if it comes up. Ok?

Just ignore them. If you’re “easily triggered” surely a trigger warning would be as triggering as a trigger. Makes no sense.
I have three points in response to this and they are as follows:
1. You clearly have no idea about how content warnings on this site work. When I tag things that might trigger people, that allows them to blacklist those tags. They don’t see the post at all, so they don’t get triggered. Which brings me to my next point…
2. You clearly have no idea how triggers work. Now, I’m not a psychologist, but I am someone with a chronic mental illness. One of the ways that I am learning to manage my illness is to identify my triggers and figure out ways to eliminate them from my life. It’s like someone with a peanut allergy learning to check the packaging before eating something. For people with mental illnesses, learning to avoid/deal with triggers is a basic part of being a healthy human being.
3. Why do you care? I’m legitimately curious about this. I told people that I would happily tag things for them if they asked me to, the anon above asked me to tag something, I said sure. Where do you come into this? Why is this your problem? Why does it bother you that the anon is acting to improve hir mental health? Why does it bother you that I’m helping hir? Please, explain to me why this matters to you, because I really don’t get it.
