Airline Travel: What Impacts the Experience is Never Discussed
For close to a fifteen-year period I traveled approximately 60% annually. I have been to over 40 countries and like to claim that I have stayed in every hotel in Manhattan. The latter is bravado as the number is closer to 35. Manhattan actually has 258 hotels comprised of 69,587 rooms but I am getting off topic. The point of this piece is to chat about how we get places.
Have you ever seen those photos documenting the experience of flight in the 1950’s and 1960’s? They actually carved meat in the aisle and shook fresh martinis! Now mind you, all of that was mixed with cigarette smell – that would be a big trade off for me personally.
