Have there been Cardassian agriculture headcanons or info from the novels before?
(I’m new to the fandom :)
Bc this is something I am definitely interested in (I’m a plant scientist - so plants are my jam). I’d thought that Cardassia was a desert planet, but according to what I’ve found so far, the air is humid, but it doesn’t really rain due to “climactic change”. So could they pull water from the air to water crops? Was this not possible at the time when the Hebitian civilization collapsed?
Also, slightly unrelated - but if the Cardassians conquered other races than the Bajorans, why do we never hear of them? Or was Bajor the first inhabited planet that the Cardassians conquered?
