Star Trek - “Web of the Romulans”
The Romulans fake an invasion so they can cure a planet of theirs, but I guess the more important storyline is that the Enterprise computer has fallen in love with Captain Kirk. Also, can I just point out that, sexism aside, so many of these early books were unintentionally (?) racist when it comes to Uhura? First, the never give her anything to do. Second, they always mention her “dark skin,” or describe her as “the Bantu woman.” Like, they never say shit like that about Kirk or McCoy!
