James Burke, one of the great minds of the 20th and 21st centuries, BBC host and author of The Day the Universe Changed, Connections, and a dozen other books on science and technology, had this to say about “The Small Guide to Small Things”

This is a wonderful book. I rarely enthuse, but this is an outstanding work: immensely enjoyable and satisfying, fascinating material, erudite, and … full of really bad jokes!

My favorites: Eubacterium;  Neptunomonas; Campylobacter corcagiensis; and last but not least, mutant camel crickets.

I am deeply moved by his support.
