Job Opportunity - Vancouver, BC

Hey guys!

So, my seasonal Halloween job is hiring.

It’s called Fright Nights, it’s an amusement park with SEVEN haunted houses. It’s only for the month of October, it’s usually around 18 days (well, nights. Shifts start at 6:30 and go til 1:30 at the latest), and it’s a BLAST.

You do NOT have to have acting experience. You just gotta be willing to scare people.

As far as haunt jobs go, it’s a really safe one. We have a great security team. I know there’s a lot of horror stories about people being beat up at haunted houses and stuff, but that doesn’t happen here. We do have the occasional punch or whatever, but the people are immediately kicked out and security is always just a button away AND they are always on your side. I feel like I have to mention that, because I have friends that work in other haunts and I’m always a little horrified by the stories I hear. Fright Nights takes their actor’s safety seriously.

It will be my fourth year working here, and it is exhausting, but it is also SO MUCH FUN. Decent money, if they like you you basically have a job every October, and you get to work with such a fantastic group of people, for real.

BONUS. I have quite a few trans friends who work here. If you have a name you go by that is not your legal name, they will respect that. Pronouns? They will respect your pronouns, and people who don’t are talked to by the supervisors.

Give it a shot, send in your application. Maybe I’ll see some of you there~
