The most embarrassing thing I am consistently unable to stop myself from doing is saying incredibly specific information, but trying to pass it off as a guesstimation so I don’t look like a nerd or come off as odd.
Like, “Oh, I think maybe that book might have been published in June of 2001 if I remember correctly,” or, “Yeah, he’s my favourite character! Even though he was only in, what? About twenty-four episodes, if we’re looking at it technically and counting voice appearances? Haha, SOMEWHERE around there,” or, “Hmm, I’m not QUITE sure, but if I had to guess I’d say it was somewhere around 4:37pm. Something like that.”
