Elim Garak. Plain and simple tailor.

If you look at his tail, you’ll see the weapon many refer to as the Cardassian Stinger. The number of beings that have survived an encounter with such a weapon number extremely few, and are almost exclusively Klingon. It comes in many different designs, this particular one is made for slicing and stabbing - therefore fast and efficient poisoning. The grooved blades and detachable quills dispense Cardassian venom - naturally every stinger is laced with the wearer’s own venom.

Because the fatality rate is so high, generally those living have never seen a stinger, only heard of it. There’s even conjecture it’s a myth. Other theories suggest it’s a weapon reserved only for the Obsidian Order, but the Bajoran people contest that idea. Either way, you never want to see one.

Of course, the blades concealed in the wrist and ankle gauntlets can and do prove just as effective at administering venom, or simply slicing throats.
