whats the difference between olive oil, sunflower oil and avocado oil????do they just taste different or
avocado oil: SUPER high smoke point (means you can cook with it at higher temps without it getting gross), lots of good fats, high in vitamin E
sunflower oil: higher smoke point than regular old canola, I guess it’s good for some other stuff, too?
olive oil: higher smoke point than sunflower, but lower than avocado, lots of omega-3 and omega-9 which i guess are good, has an interesting history of being controlled by the Italian mafia and often isn’t really what it claims it is. Also this really depends on what kind of olive oil you’re using- extra light olive oil has a smoke point around 468 degrees, but like, extra-virgin olive oil has a smoke point that’s only at 405.
