Garak: That’s right. And on behalf of my people, I’d like to learn if there were any survivors after our attack on your homeland. 

Female Changeling: Cardassian survivors?

Garak: Yes.

Female Changeling: There were no Cardassian survivors. 

Garak: You mean they’re all dead? 

Female Changeling: They’re dead. You’re dead. Cardassia is dead. Your people were doomed the moment they attacked us. I believe that answers your question. 

Garak: It was a pleasure meeting you.

I just have to say, the expressions on Garak’s face in this exchange – beginning middle and end (especially the end) – are among my favorite in the entire series. He flashes from obsequious to shocked to I-am-going-to-kill-you (and he later tries). Great prosthetics and of course great Andrew Robinson. -Wendy
