There’s a huge amount of sketches that never see the light of day for one reason or another. I thought I’d collect some together and post them because they may be of interest! Sorry they’re so blurry. Some of these I maybe will finish, but most won’t be taken further than this in their current form.
I grouped each collection by a theme so it’s easier to talk about. The first collection is Garak sketches - I may yet finish off the first two (meant to go in sequence), but not the last one. The last one is Garak promising to assassinate Quark and saying he’ll never see him coming. :D
The second collection is Asha sketches. There’s primeverse Asha, Garak cuddling Asha, Asha holding Kukalaka, and finally Asha the noodle standing up to Gul Dukat.
Third collection is the species swap au mostly! There’s Jules, posing in the most ridiculous way like the goof he is. Then there’s the scene in ops, which ordinarily would be Garak telling Dukat that Kira isn’t interested in him. Here it’s Jules saying some very choice words, and making some very damning implications coming from the person who used to be Gul Dukat’s doctor. Unrelatedly (and because it wouldn’t fit into the others), the last image is a Cardassian skeletal sketch.
The fourth collection is Seska! And hopefully I will actually be able to complete these sketches, or sketches like them. The first is Seska with her hologram - hopefully I can make this a full artwork for the next chapter of The Meaning Of Family. The second is Seska escaping a Hirogen, which is old now, but a preview of the direction redesigned Hirogen are going. The last one is Kes and Naomi dragging the unconscious Seska to Sickbay. Those last two artworks are related to this art/story of Seska!
