There are still dinosaurs living among us…
This giant gator was seen taking this leisurely stroll through Circle B Bar wildlife reserve in Lakeland, Florida, on Sunday. The video was recorded and shared by Kim Joiner.
I love him.
@barbiebones Have you visited your local gator today?
Still not bigger than a saltwater croc
thats the average size for a saltwater croc lol
Lol, you serious???? that looks like maybe 5 meters long? 5.5 max? salties get up to 7 man, 23 feet dude………
as gorgeous as it is, that wouldn’t be considered a “dinosaur” living among us. that’d be more like a… well… a crocodile living among us (yes, I know a croc is different than a gator, but they’re closer to each other than either one to a dino). There were many crocodiles living in the Mesozoic era. If you want to give an animal that was specific to our prehistory, I’d say go with “dimetrodon,” a reptile from the Paleozoic era which is often considered a dinosaur by the general public, but it, like crocodiles do not have an erect posture, but splayed (in the case of lizards) or semi-erect (in the case of crocodiles and alligators).
still that there gator is a gorgeous creature!!!!
