Garak: What are you doing?

Nog: Regrouping.

Garak: But you’re losing. 

Nog: But that’s why I need to protect my assets. 

Garak: This is not a financial transaction. Protecting your assets is what got you into trouble in the first place. You have to go on the offensive. You have to attack. 

Nog [placing his piece]: Your move.

Garak: Well, this is maddening. Asking a Ferengi to play a Cardassian game is like asking a Klingon to chew with his mouth closed. 

I kind of went crazy doing screen-caps of this episode. There are a lot. I’m going to spread them out over a few days. Visually, this episode is really great, because it’s noir and it’s Garak with his killer-in-a-slasher-movie side getting unleashed more in every scene. And then there’s the dialog, which I also want to quote. So look out for it. -Wendy
