Like a fabulous mullet, this post is gonna be business in front, party in the back.
BUSINESS. Throughout this Star Trek Trek, I’ve been reporting on the episodes I’ve watched. These posts have taken the form of bullet-pointed live-blog-style notes, short prose-form write-ups, and 2-ish Tarra-traditional recaps. Mostly thought it has been the notes, because the notes are way easiest, as I can just scatter out thoughts as I’m watching, do one focusing pass, and we’re good to go! My inclination is to stay in note mode as I continue to watch Deep Space Nine, which I love very much and want to talk about, as because I love it very much I think I’m going to be watching 98% of the rest of the episodes (business point 2!) and to do write-ups or, god, recaps for that many episodes would be much the undertaking.
So I guess this is a functional Announcement that I will continue to deliver a Complete Notes Experience of my DS9 thoughts, for what that is worth!
Business point 3, but 1st in my heart: I just want to thank again and publicly @theglintoftherail, @memory-for-trifles, and @rainbowrites for their infectious DS9 enthusiasm and on-point episode recommendations, without which we would not be where we are today <3 <3
