Personal headcanon: Cardassia is filled with Brutalist architecture like this. I’m not sure it would be moreso or less so after the Dominion war. Reinforced concrete is pretty great after a war. I probably developed this idea from all the Brutalist and Soviet-style architecture blogs I follow, including @architectureofdoom, which is probably my favorite.
