For all those coming (or considering coming) to ConfabCon in May, please consider being on a panel! Here are all the requests for panelists, including mine:
I’m looking for panelists who want to talk about history in fanfic. I’ll be talking about uses of history and constructing alternate history in reference to Captain America, but it’s a multifandom panel. I welcome anyone who wants to talk about
- history in other fandoms
- parts of history fans can’t get enough of
- parts of history fans should be talking about
- historical inaccuracies that drive you crazy
- how fans find and share historical sources
- or any topic related to history, fic, and fandom!
