Keiko and Garak would be amazing friends and no-one can convince me that they don’t hang out while the O’Briens are living on Cardassia and Garak teaches Keiko to grow Edosian Orchids and buys Molly and Yoshi presents and makes them cute clothes because he has to keep his hands busy or he’ll stRANGLE A POLITICIAN OR TWO.

Miles appreciates his company at times and is always startled that Garak’s good with kids by virtue of being the uncle who doesn’t bother to censor himself or talk down to them.

When he’s getting a tour around Keiko’s garden at the projects he makes Yoshi laugh by scooping up the little boy and going now just LOOK at this WEED And Yoshi’s like “IM NOT A WEED” BUT THEN HOW COULD YOU BE GROWING SO FAST INTO THE COMPOST HEAP WITH YOU

Molly just likes that Garak never talks down to her and sometimes shows up with a new dress or whatever the current fashion is among her Cardassian friends and at least once Miles came home to find Keiko laughing her head off because Molly’s been applying traditional blue makeup to Garak and Garak’s like “your daughter is terrifying, she should be in the new Cardassian Intelligence Services.”

Garak later gets an angry call because Molly’s gotten into trouble for punching a kid who was being mean to her right in the chuva and Garak’s like “oops”
