Mmm. Wouldn’t that be fascinating? I mean, I confess I put rather a lot of that into DD9 Julian. I ascribe it to his not really learning to socialize properly due to Richard’s refusal to let him do anything but Be Better, Learn More, Make Me Proud. It’s one of DD9 Julian’s defining characteristics, to me: his ability to fake being “normal”.

And the idea that DS9 Julian might be walking around with the same kind of thoughts inside his head… that’s really quite fascinating, isn’t it?
