Came across some 1990’s Star Trek news for DS9. During filming of “What you Leave Behind”, the Dukat vs Sisko fight scene, Avery Brooks accidentally punched Marc Alaimo, breaking his nose. A loud “crack!” and blood was everywhere on set. Alaimo had to be taken to the hospital in full Cardassian make-up and had 2 black eyes for a week. I know fights are carefully choreographed but Alaimo said he didn’t turn his head away in time. Ouch! Poor Mr. Alaimo!

I mean, I’ve heard this story before, but it always makes me giggle. Especially having heard Marc tell the story about standing on a guy’s balls for an entire scene on live TV.
