Grilka and Sirella become part of the Klingon High Council, and negotiate a trade agreement with Ishka, who appoints Pel as her liaison.  At first this goes badly, because Pel challenges Grilka to a fight over Quark, but Grilka is so impressed by Tiny Ferengi Lady’s courage, and Pel is so taken aback but how much respect Grilka shows her, that they become really good friends.

They agree to both marry Quark on a timeshare basis, after which they inform him of their decision.
He’s like ‘okay, but Odo has to give me away.’

The Ferengi probably already have time-share marriage contracts on their law books.

Pff, and Odo is SOOOO uncomfortable, but secretly proud to be asked.

And honestly? Any excuse to get out of the Great Link. It was WONDERFUL to be part of the whole and have that sense of belonging… for about a week. After which his family really began to get on his nerves. His best enemy’s wedding is a perfect pretext.

The Great Link would be a drag after awhile.  It must be like an endless holiday dinner with all your most bigoted great-aunts and uncles.  And Odo keeps getting told off for telling the cousins about his adventures with the Solids, and making them want to go off and have adventures too, but when the great-aunts and uncles tell him off he just does whatever the mindlink equivalent of “HMNF!” is, and keeps on.  Three cousins go with him to the wedding and cause a stir with the Ferengi guests by pretending to be bricks of gold-pressed latinum.

And he and Kira have a delighted reunion. With sparkles.
