I adore the Vorkosigan Saga with the whole of my readerly heart, but the covers are the official Worst.

I mean sure the MMC is barely 5 feet tall and bears a lot of scars and premature wrinkles from chronic pain, but okay. The FMC is a MIDDLE-AGE, NOTABLY TALLER THAN HIM, DARK-HAIRED woman, but okay.

That being said read The Vorkosigan Saga start at the beginning with Cordelia’s Honor of the equally cringey cover and don’t stop until you get you hands on every embarrassing 80s-sci-fi-looking-ass book cover in the Vorkosigan universe, the woman is a genius ahead of her time and Baen did her wrong. The books are as good as the covers are bad.
