A poll for the lizardfuckers

I’ve managed to avoid the word “slit” in my fics, because @whatis2plus2 hates it, and he betas nearly everything I write, but I’ve never asked the other lizardfuckers who actually read my porn for fun their stance on it. So hey lizardfuckers: pro-slit or anti-slit?

PRO-SLIT!!!

The things I wake up to 😍

Definitely pro slit. Give me all the slits.

I find slit to be a practical word because it’s more genderless than cunt. You can’t use “cunt” for a male if there’s not a vagina in there, and “mancunt” is a ridiculous word. Alternatives could be crack, hole, gap…

I must admit that I also tried to avoid various words and kept some descriptions a bit vague so readers with different headcanons or sensitivity can have an easier time projecting their favorite fantasies onto the action. I know that a number of persons use the word “evicted” instead of “erected”, which I personally haven’t done because eviction makes me think of people getting kicked out of their house manu militari, so I kind of picture it as some really kinky shit involving a Cardassian military shoving their hand in to sorta force the squirmy out of its bodily sheath and ah. Not always fitting with the mood.

Sheath also a word I guess XD

We tend to use “everted”, not “evicted”… I’ve actually never seen “evicted” used like that before 😅

And also, I’m aware that for most head canons, if you’re strict, “everted” would be technically wrong (because the dick isn’t actually everting so much as protruding)…

But speaking of words in general: in English, I’ve seen “purse” used for the cavity that you can enter via the aforementioned slit - a word that makes my friend @borg-apologist cringe, as is “seam” (for the scaling/structure surrounding the slit).

You see “bloom” for everting (I think this one comes directly out of a very good and unfortunately very abandoned fic called “Impulse”).

“Sheath”, as mentioned by @noxfoxarts, is often used for the structure that keeps the dick in place while it is not everted. I personally use “concealed” for the non-everted state in general.

Then, in Kardasi, the terms ajan (for the purse/cunt), vit (for the clit) and prUt (for the dick) are relatively widely in use – they are part of Kardasi according to @tinsnip & Co. There is another one that I really don’t like, and don’t remember, basically it means spear and is used for dick. (I dislike any comparison between dicks and weapons, because they always sound rapey to me).

Personally I don’t use any of the Kardasi terms, because for some reason I simply cannot stand the sound of “prUt”, nor the visual of the capital letter in the middle of the word… Ha. But that’s just me I guess.
