I’ve been thinking of doing a rewatch to note all pronoun use but i don’t think either of those are used in the show. with the angels and demons, pronouns of that sort often seem to be avoided completely. (Same with god, except Aziraphale does refer to god as “she” at one point at least)
Beelzebub is he/him in the book, same with all other angels and demons mentioned, but with tv show dialogue, it’s a lot easier to just not say it?
If anyone has screenshots or transcripts please share though!

@aziraphalesbian Oooooh, i always took “they” in this context to mean an unspecified person, probably because of the “someone,” rather than a specific singular pronoun, so more “they” as in a random unknown denizen of hell, possibly an underling they see as disposable (because would you want to personally give the devil that news?). Never really thought about it as applying to beelz specifically, but thanks for pointing that out!
