Another story from that Neil Gaiman talk thing in NY: one day, they were doing a b-roll shoot (in the park I think) and David and Michael were supposed to just look like they were talking to each other, but none of what they were saying would be recorded. Neil could hear them on his headset, though, and out of nowhere, David started trash talking Michael, saying mean things about him, that he’d put on weight, etc. Neil was shocked because David’s so sweet why would he say that–then he looked over and it was actually Michael doing a really good David Tennant impression.
Before he told this story, he said he had to be careful about spoilers, so I’m guessing this was one of the scenes where they were body swapped. Not only is the mental image of Michael Sheen (as Aziraphale) pretending to be David Tennant in front of David Tennant absolutely delightful, but the fact that Michael might have been doing DT impressions while he was playing Crowley-as-Aziraphale makes me REALLY want a gag reel.
