Can we just take a minute to appreciate how unconvincing those injuries are, though? You’d think a makeup department like DS9’s could do better than LINES OF PAINT.

Admittedly, yes, his frequent bloody noses were more convincing. (He gets hit in the face more than any other character I have ever loved, I am sure of this.)  This was obviously amateur hour in makeup land, which I think is evidenced by Garak’s lack of definition or shading or anything on even his basic face in this one as well.  Still, I get excited about even implied bloodshed, haha, it’s just how I roll. 

DS9’s makeup in general goes from “toddler with fingerpaint” to “WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT’S A PERSON IN A COSTUME NO NO THOSE ALIENS ARE REAL” I’ve stopped trying to understand it. (and yes any blood is good blood)
