“My first piece of Cardassian fanart! I wanted to do something in the vein of pre-Raphaelite artwork, so instead of drawing modern Cardassia, I decided to do ancient Hebitia, the civilization that was in existence before the Cardassian military took over. This woman has just performed some religious ritual, and is holding a recitation mask as described in some of the Trek books. The architecture is vaguely Egyptian inspired, I had no idea what Hebitian architecture might look like.
Also, I have discovered that I love drawing scales almost as much as I hate drawing hands.”
