Some of these are done in one or two other countries, but most are just weird to everyone else and that’s insane

Children pledging to the flag every morning in school
How large food/drink portions are
Red solo cups culture
Never including the tax on price tags
High school prom is such a big deal
Legal drinking age being so high
Putting ice cubes in drinks is very common
Normal for prescription medication to be advertised
Huge gaps at the bottom and sides of public bathroom stalls
