I love the "what's different in Canada" blog and it's thanks to you that I've found it. I do have to say, though, by far the most jarring thing during my visit to Canada was how insistent everyone was that I take my shoes off at the door. I have giant boats for shoes, I'm used to taking them to a bedroom so nobody trips on them!
