Aaaand we’re BACK!
It’s been a little quiet around here and it’s time to change that! Over the next 2 weeks, we at the zine invite you to step outside your fannish comfort zone.
Do you write/draw the same pairing, the same scenarios, the same genre?
We all have our times where we hit a good groove and the we just coast. (confession: mod is currently by the pool on the giant battleship Garak/Bashir) And that’s fine, but now’s the time to try something else.
Write whatever scares you. Write action if people in your fics mostly talk and kiss. Write the gen adventure story. Write a different tense, a different POV, a different character.
Because you don’t get stronger by coasting, and sometimes something wonderful happens that otherwise would never have been written at all! Boldly go!
Deadline: Tuesday, September 30th
Min word count: 600 words
Extra challenge mode: With your submission include a short explanation of why you did what you did and how it’s different from your usual work.
