While we’re speaking of Scrivener: apparently the iOS version is presently in in-house beta and is due for release sometime this summer.
Slanted Fedora con 2001
This was my third of three DS9 conventions. It took place in Philadelphia in November of 2001.
I was kind of off-kilter during this convention and I can’t find any con reports to jog my memory. In addition, a couple of big Andy-meeting moments for me blurred my memory of the minutiae.
Star Trek spinoff I’d love to see: Garak and Bashir buddy sitcom. Because of reasons, Garak and Bashir must share quarters on Deep Space 9. Hilarity ensues.
Bashir walks into the living area. Garak is sitting on the couch.
“Garak, did you ask Chief O’Brien to take a look at the replicator?”
Garak grins knowingly.
“I don’t know, Doctor. Did I?”
Bashir rolls his eyes and shrugs.
Bashir, to replicator, “Tarkalean tea, extra sweet.”
There is an explosion from inside the replicator. Smoke pours out. Bashir turns to face the camera. His face is covered in grime.
Laugh track plays.
