We never actually really see any of Garak’s tailoring, do we?

I think he promises to make a wedding dress that one time and then never actually makes it because there’s an invasion. And then he occasionally mentions that he’s working on someone’s pants.

For all the time the show spends establishing how good Garak is at 1. lying 2. killing 3. torturing 4. communications technology 5. hacking 6. stealing 7. literary criticism 8. not dying 9. blowing things up 10. hacking communications technology to lie to people he’s stealing from so that he can kill people 11. quoting shakespeare

its funny that we never see a really good example of him being really good at his actual job.

….Maybe it’s for the best, making Garak take credit for most of what people wear on DS9 that aren’t star fleet uniforms wouldn’t exactly be doing him a favor.
