Recently made some custom voicelines for Nick and Worthy - basically just took the isolated Trilogy voice lines (thank you iteachvader!) and merged them with the DD Yell effect in Audacity.
Yes, the Yell effects are different between the 2D and 3D games.

it's also literally... in the canon? as much as phoenix progresses in his treatment of edgeworth by the point of aa3 he is still such a weirdo. phoenix has that thing where he thinks nice things he wants to say to people like maya and edgeworth but he ends up either silent or an asshole. "i want to give him a hug" turns into "haha is that your way of saying thank you. dumbass. your face is green"
and well. i mean. look at edgeworth. if you started crying near him he would offer a tissue and stand there for the whole time silently growing more and more irritated with every minute. your honor they're so fucked up
im almost kind of glad we have pretty much no information on whatever phoenix and edgeworth were up to re: solving cases together abroad in the 7yg because it lets me imagine whatever funny shit i want to. such as international prosecutor of acclaim miles edgeworth getting a real stinker of a case in like Luxembourg or something and having to talk to whatever team he's working with like. okay. let me get my guy on this. he calls in some dude with visible shaving cuts and a suit that absolutely does not properly fit him and is singed and/or torn and/or stained in several places. id like to introduce you all to mr phoenix wright. 'are you a detective' no 'another lawyer?' no they disbarred me i'm just here consulting. 'on what' the case.
he spends 12 straight hours being verbally harassed by every involved witness. accidentally almost walks into oncoming traffic several time forgetting which way the cars go. keeps saying incredibly cryptic and/or blatantly wrong things and then immediately walking them back. suggests the worst possible motive and execution of a murder you've ever heard in your life. and it's correct. case solved. okay bye. its the only person edgeworth has ever referred to as a friend in public.
