Can Julian Bashir ever say “that guy”? Do British people say “guy”? For some reason it rings oddly to have him say “that chap” or “that bloke,” and “that fellow” doesn’t feel quite right in this situation. It’s a DD9 situation, so he’s a bit less formal than our usual CMO.
